Grupo Nutresa was looking to launch its successful chickpea chip brand Kibo in the United States but needed a rebrand that would appeal to their US audience. They chose Austin as their US homebase and initial launch with plans to expand further across the United States. I got the opportunity to translate the existing Colombian brand into something bold and fun for US consumers. I acted as Art Director and Digital Designer for this project.
Kibo was already an existing brand in Central America. I expanded their existing color palette and brand elements to create a brand that both related to its Columbian counterpart but also felt new. The brand prides itself on the fresh ingredients used to make their product and wanted something that really showcased that aspect in addition to their primary brand color the "Kibo blue". The result was a bold website featuring large ingredient imagery that helped to guide the user down the page. Along with an entire website design, I also art directed a photoshoot for social and website media, and created display banners and animated videos.
